Honestly Abe the Musical on the NY Times!

Check it out, at the top of Google: http://theater.nytimes.com/show/42286/Honestly-Abe-The-Musical/overview  (Like TMZ.com, the NY Times has some kind of strange Web protector so it takes entering the title into the search bar. Well, TMZ and the NY times are alike in many things, after all.)

Plus, here.

And here.

And here.

And here. And so forth. Well, we are on a roll now, that’s for sure. Tic toc tic toc…hear that? That’s the sound of the atom bomb that is going to blow up when I get to Broadway….and it’s getting close….What’s the matter…scared?

Some Media Notes

Google conducts its own survey to proove that search engines have First Amendment rights. I would tend to agree.

Erin Burnett’s show is slipping in ratings. I wonder at what point CNN will pull the plug? And how does she stack up to other shows, like the very boring Anderson Cooper? I usually watch her show for the news, and then Bill O’Reilly. I find it interesting to see how each side spins the news. You can learn a lot listening to how people say things or what priorities they apply. Burnett’s problem was she took personal offense to Steven Colbert when he made fun of her. It never works to criticize satirists or critics; it’s best to simply accept.

I think that, without question, Pres. Obama will be re-elected. I am prepared to offer my talents to Mitt Romney as a speech-writer, should be want to hire me, because I want to work as a speech-writer for any politician. So, since he won’t hire me, he will lose.

Tom Brokaw Says Media Out of Touch

Well, ya don’t say? I read an article about these dinners in the Kennedy White House. And it was a fine example of why I don’t like MSM—and that includes all of it. There were place-holders for the names of the guests at the tables, such as Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, Gore Vidal, John Steinbeck, etc., etc. When I went to President Obama’s inauguration, guests up there in the little platform were P Diddy and whoever was the NBC anchor at the time. Times have changed, and so have the priorities. Modern day “media figures” are just paper tigers, weaklings, pathetic.

Associated Press in the Bag for the White House

Now, don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great that the AP held on the story of the CIA’s double-agent and his foiling of a terrorist attack. My opinion is that journalists should do just that. And all this nonsense about the “ethics of journalism” is just that—nonsense, because journalists often break the rules; a la the article linked above. Furthermore, the way that journalists do business in the first place is immoral (see: Rupert Murdoch). So the AP should stop pretending it is not a sub-standard media outlet because it is.

Here’s a little diddy, somewhat related to my point.

The Kentucky Derby

And the winner is…who cares? What a bunch of uber-rich snobs, parading around and drugging up horses to the point of the horses dying, all to make a big paycheck. Meanwhile, the Mob is in deep with all the money to be made at the betting booth. Forget about it.
